Whitesnake '1987'

Este disco de Whitesnake llamado simplemente 1987, como el año en el que apareció, muestra otro Whitesnake que empezaban una segunda etapa alejada del estilo musical con el que empezaron con discos de puro rock´n roll con pintas bluseros, dejando paso a unos Whitesnake con un puro sonido hard-rock melódico, aunque muchos seguidores de Whitesnake vieron aquella nueva etapa como artificial, para dar una imagen “americanizada”, cueros resaltantes, pelos ochenteros, cantidad de hits en las listas etc… de lo que se dice fue idea de Coverdale para conquistar de una vez EEUU. Pero 1987 es sin duda uno de los mejores discos de Whitesnake por no decir el mejor conteniendo muchas de sus más grandes canciones y más recordadas.
